Who we are

This website is run by Realm Kinetics Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 16947464), based in London. We are the controller of the personal information described here.

What we collect

When you send us a message through the contact form, we collect:

• your name, email address and, if you give it, your organisation
• the topic you choose and your message
• the page you sent it from and the time you sent it
• a one way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address and your browser type, used only to stop spam and abuse

Investor panel

If you register for the investor panel, we also collect and keep:

• your account details (email address); investors sign in with a one time code that we email to them, so there is no password to store
• your profile: full name, country, and optionally phone number and organisation
• the investor statement you sign, including your answers (for example your income or net assets to the nearest band the statement asks for), your typed signature and the date
• which version of the investor panel terms you accepted and when
• any amounts you tell us you would like to invest, the status of your investment, and records of bank transfers between you and us
• a record of which documents you download and when, and documents we issue to you such as share certificates

We use this to confirm you are eligible to receive information about investing in Realm Kinetics (as UK law requires), to run the investor panel, to process any investment and issue shares, and to keep the records a company must keep. The lawful bases are our legal obligations, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and our legitimate interests in running a secure and compliant fundraising process. Investor statements are kept for as long as we rely on them and for our records afterwards.

Why we use it

We use this information to read and answer your enquiry, and to keep the form safe from misuse. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and your agreement when you tick the box on the form.

Emails we send

When you send the form, we email you a short confirmation and forward your enquiry to our team. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not sell your information.

Where it is stored

Enquiries are stored securely with Amazon Web Services in London, which also sends our emails. We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any follow up, and then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to how we use it. To do this, send us a message through the contact form. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk (abre em uma nova aba).
